Alex, 12, Julius, 11, Sierra, 16, Aiyanna, 6, father Kendrick, Joshua, 12, and mother Michelle Harrison pictured with their belongings packed into a moving truck outside their Las Vegas home on their eviction day.

Kendrick, a father and a veteran, was a student at Argosy University. He received stipends as student that helped keep the family afloat. But when his campus suddenly closed, Argosy University illegally kept stipend money belonging to students, including Kendrick. The loss of funds for the Harrisons made a large impact on their finances which ultimately lead to an eviction. "How America's College-Closure Crisis ⁣Leaves Families Devastated." That's what hurts me the most. Having to break the news to them that our beautiful home that we’ve created is pretty much being taken from us because of because of an action that we have no control over. " Kendrick said.
